How to Apply for Government Jobs Online in Pakistan — Trakora jobs guide

An online application should be treated like a short audit. You are checking identity, eligibility, files and proof of submission in a fixed order.

Before opening the form

Download the original advertisement and create a folder named with the organization and post. Put your identity document, certificates, photograph, domicile, CV and experience proof in that folder. Read the file-size and image-format rules before scanning.

Complete identity fields consistently

Use the same spelling of your name, parent’s name, date of birth and identity number that appears on the requested document. Check phone and email access because later notices may go there.

Review every upload

  • Open each file after uploading it.
  • Check that stamps and signatures are readable.
  • Confirm the portal shows a successful upload.
  • Save the application number and fee receipt.

Finish with evidence

Save a PDF or screenshot of the final page and write the next expected event—test, interview, roll-number slip or document verification—in your calendar. Use a new tab to visit the official portal rather than trusting a shortened link.

Identify the real submission endpoint

Start from the organization’s own notice and follow only the application route it names. Federal departments may use the National Jobs Portal; general recruitment by FPSC uses the commission’s official online application system; provincial commissions maintain separate portals such as PPSC. A domain containing an agency name is not enough—check that it is linked from the agency’s official website.

Run a field-by-field eligibility audit

Before entering data, write the advertisement number, case number, post title and closing date at the top of a note. Beside each eligibility condition, record the document that proves it: degree and transcript for education, appointment and relieving letters for experience, domicile for quota, and registration certificate for a regulated profession. Enter dates exactly as the portal requests and do not round experience periods. Where a qualification has a different title, obtain the required equivalence instead of assuming that the recruiting body will treat it as equivalent.

Check payment and final status

Use only the fee method stated in the current advertisement. Record the transaction or challan reference before returning to the form. After submission, reopen the application dashboard and verify that the status says submitted rather than saved, draft or incomplete. Download the submitted form and receipt, then set calendar reminders for the roll-number slip and test. If the portal permits a correction, compare the final PDF with the original advertisement before using that one opportunity to edit. Never send an OTP, password or payment to a person claiming they can accelerate selection.
