Trakora (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates trakora.net and its subdomains (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Newsletter subscriptions: email address you voluntarily submit.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, referrer, device type, approximate location, and similar analytics data.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: to remember preferences and to serve ads (see section 4).

2. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain and improve the Site.
  • To send newsletters you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To measure traffic and understand which opportunities are useful.
  • To display advertisements that support the free service.

3. Legal basis

We process data on the basis of your consent (cookies, newsletter), our legitimate interest (analytics, security, fraud prevention), and to comply with applicable law.

4. Advertising & Google AdSense

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve advertising. Trakora uses a non-advertising account meta tag so Google can verify the site without loading the advertising script. The AdSense script and ad requests are enabled only after you accept optional advertising technology in the consent dialog. If you reject, ad requests remain paused in that browser.

  • Our current implementation requests non-personalized ads. Personalized advertising is not enabled by this implementation.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Users may opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
  • For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, consent choices are requested before any ad request is sent. You can change your choice at any time using the “Privacy choices” button.
  • Our current ad requests are configured as non-personalized. A Google-certified consent management platform must be configured before personalized ads are enabled.

5. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. These providers may set cookies subject to your consent.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with service providers (hosting, email delivery, advertising) strictly to operate the Site.

7. Data retention

Newsletter emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. You may request deletion by contacting us.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
