Business Development Manager (PPS-8) - National Center for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (NCNN)

Position Overview

Job Description

The Business Development Manager will create strategic alliances between NCNN, academics, industries, government bodies, and international organisations to increase the research impact, technology transfer, innovations, and sustainable development of the Center.

Main Responsibilities

• Create and develop collaborations with industries, government bodies, funding bodies, and international organisations.
• Lead technology transfer, intellectual property management, licensing and commercialisation of research outputs.
• Identify new technologies and research outputs with commercialisation prospects and find ways to take them to the market.
• Help in the preparation of industrial proposals, innovation grants, and commercialisation funding applications by researchers.
• Promote innovation and entrepreneurship by organising industry engagement activities and developing partnerships with incubators, technology parks and venture capital organisations.
• Maintain a database of industrial partners, research competencies, patents, technologies, and collaborations.
• Prepare reports on industrial involvement, technology transfer, innovation metrics, and commercialisation activities.
• Develop and manage the websites and other social media platforms of National Center for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Project Director.

Note: This is a Contractual/PSDP Project-based position.

Minimum qualification required for this position:

Management degree with a minimum of 02 years relevant experience in business development related to Science & Technology. Applicants fulfilling the minimum criteria and having IT experience may be preferred.
